Theft From Lawrenceburg Home Under Investigation
A theft investigation got underway when a Lawrenceburg resident reported her belongings went missing after she had work done at her home.
The victim reported to officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that the theft took placed at her Windsor Drive home sometime Tuesday. She said she had hired workers to complete various repair tasks at her house, including the replacement of a bedroom doorknob.
Later in the day, the victim said she noticed that her Samsung Galaxy tablet had gone missing from that bedroom. She said it was worth approximately $530.
Investigation into the complaint is currently continuing by detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
